Fix Lipstick Smudges

Matte shades in deep vibrant hues are total head turners these days but the fear of creating the pigmented pout and smudging it as a result of a shaky hand while applying the lipstick could keep you from adhering to the trend. Fear no more girlies, some makeup tricks will never let you get embarrassed at your lunch dates or during your encounter with another fashionista.

Fix Lipstick Smudges

  • First things first, prep, it’s important because cracked lips would never let the lipstick go even on your lips and won’t let the lipstick last longer as a result of which your million-dollar look might get spoiled. Mix a DIY sugar scrub and massage it on your lips twice a week and your lips are lipstick ready.
  • moisturize your lips with a lip balm or petroleum jelly, it’s better that you wipe away the petroleum jelly after rubbing it on your lips because the lipstick needs a little dry (not flaky) surface to go smooth and even on your lips.
  • Soup up your lipstick game by placing a single layer tissue over your lips and dabbing a setting powder on top so the moisture gets absorbed and voila! You’re pout ready for pictures.
  • Now a depressing part, the lipstick that you vouch for stays taut in between your fingers ready to make love to your pout and you accidentally end up creating blur spots outside your lips (ouch!). Well, investment in a lip liner wouldn’t hurt, but a product that is already resting in your makeup bag could do the deal too. So, go on and dab a blob of concealer or two around the lines of your lips and blend it with a brush and you’ll rejoice when you notice the mistakes dissipate. Lock it further with a setting powder and the shade will really pop a little more than usual.
