Disguise Dark Circles

Don’t feel vulnerable if you have dark circles, as a matter of fact, dark circles happen to everyone, it may be due to a night of overindulgence, sleep deprivation or just an allergy. Whatsoever may be the reason, hiding dark circles is as important a thing as hiding freckles and pigmentation on face. So, here are a few pointers to remember to brighten up the area around the eyes through concealing like a pro.

Number 1:
Moisturizing

Jot this down as the most vital step, moisturizing your skin before makeup, is as important as drinking 8 glasses of water every day (quick note: 8 glasses of water everyday rejuvenates your skin, flushing out all the toxic waste, purifying the blood cells and restoring the natural glow of the skin by eliminating pigmentation and dark circles).

Number 2:
The Prep step

An under eye cream is important before crashing, invest in an under eye cream because it might not help in eliminating dark circles completely, but will trigger the muscles around the eyes to function properly all through the night to reduce puffiness and darkness. While concealers instantly camouflage the darkness, it’s important that you prep the area around the eyes so your concealer falls smooth and even without cracking up later that day. Applying a primer is mandatory before any makeup.

Number 3:
Neutralize darkness

Top makeup artists suggest that simply concealing the area around the eyes won’t help, it’s important that a bright color is used to neutralize and camouflage the darkness, reds, and oranges are believed to be the best hues to fade away darkness, swipe a stroke of a red and orange lipstick beneath the eyes.

Number 4:

Go on with the concealer on the top of the lipstick shade that you have swiped under the eye, now, there’s a way of concealing the under eyes. Shown in the image below. This way, the concealer will properly blend into the skin without looking cakey and overly done.
